Name of Artist: The Wong Couple
Dates of Artist's Life: Unknown
1. Personal Background:
Their real names are Jeff and Erin, a husband-and-wife photography team, a.k.a The Wong Couple Photographers. They just moved to San Francisco recently and now based there. A slightly 'offbeat' who love photography, the great outdoors, traveling, and exploring the beautiful home city of San Francisco. Believe that every life and every love has a story worth telling. They share the common interests of photography, travelling, hiking, camping, diving, snow boarding, film making, yummy food eating, and discovering new music.
2. Style:
They value the diversity in the world—from the multitude of ancient cultures to today’s modern lifestyles—and that is what they want their photography to be about. They take pictures of the grandest things like ancient buildings, modern architecture, cities, marriages, to the simplest things like love couples, families, foods, and share it with other people. Their pictures look very clear and beautiful. From what I had saw, they usually take close up pictures. They cannot be defined with a specific style, pictures are sorted into four different types.
3. Philosophy:
As said above, the Wong Couple believe that everything has a story worth telling. Therefore, there's a story worth sharing in each picture they took. I admired that kind of thinking and if I were to become a photographer like them, I would also think the same thing. They also help other people captured their special moments and share it, either publicly or personally. In my viewpoint, they are the ideal photographers.
4. Influence:
To say the truth, it would take me at least 3 years, if I like it, to take pictures similar to them. Right now, I'm still a beginner, I'm still don't understand photography and how to do it too. I also didn't really gave it my all because ,this is rude so I apologize first, it's not the main subject I want to focus it. However, if in the future I change my mind and become a photographer, I want to be like the Wong Couple. I also need to have enough money for travel too, I guess. (hahaha)
